A good facilitator doesn’t lead your journey. They create the conditions for your own journey to unfold safely.
Already had enough screen time today? Go for a walk, make a coffee, stare out a window… and listen instead.
Choosing a psychedelic facilitator is a deeply personal decision. Qualifications, experience, and personality all matter, but just as important is finding someone whose approach feels right for you.
Some facilitators are licensed therapists or medical professionals. Others come from traditional or Indigenous lineages and incorporate ceremony and spiritual practices into their work. There is no single “right” approach. The most important question is whether you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.
My own approach is grounded, personalized, and collaborative.
I believe the medicine has its own wisdom. My role isn’t to tell you what your experience means or to provide all the answers. Instead, I help you prepare thoughtfully, create a safe and supportive environment for the journey itself, and help you integrate whatever emerges afterward.
Depending on your needs, I may draw on tools such as Bowen Therapy, breathwork, meditation, EFT, or nervous system regulation. These aren’t the focus of the experience, nor are they used with every client. They are simply supportive tools that may be helpful along the way.
Above all, I encourage people to trust their own experience. Lasting healing doesn’t come from adopting someone else’s beliefs or interpretations. It comes from creating the space to reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
Before choosing a facilitator, ask yourself a simple question:
Do I feel safe enough with this person to be completely myself?
In my experience, that answer matters more than any title or technique.
